In what circumstances may you amend your Ontario corporation?
If you have already registered an Ontario corporation, in the following circumstances you may consider amending it:

Your corporation name is the same as or similar to another corporation, which was incorporated earlier. Your corporation received a complaint from the early registered corporation.

Your corporation name does not reflect the nature of your business. For example, you have a corporation called ABC Trade Incorporation, but you want to buy a coffee shop with the corporation name. In this case, may want to change your corporation name.

You don't like your corporation name any more.

There are any changes in the location, directors or officers information of the corporation.
